Stock Manager allows you to easily keep up with all of your stocks on the fly. Set up categories for tracking multiple portfolios and all of the world’s major stock exchanges. There are numerous options that allow you to list stocks by name or symbol, display by buy or sell dates or numbers of shares, and display profit in monetary terms or percentages. Stocks on various world markets can be displayed in their native currency or the user’s base currency.

Display details of individual stocks or a listing of stocks to shows change in each of them as well as compiling a comprehensive profit/loss position. Asset allocation charts have options that show a number of useful, current statistics in pie or bar chart format. Track individual stocks using a historical graph.

Updating current information over-the-air is accomplished by pressing the menu key and selecting Internet then Update Stocks. The application then quickly displays not only the current value but also changes from the previous update. Downloaded data includes the current price, the day’s high and low, previous closing price, trading volume, ask and bid prices, and 52-week highs and lows. Users can set alerts to follow updates including changes in a stock’s price, profit, profit percentage or daily change.

During the review period, the program performed flawlessly with no crashes or other interruptions.

Stock Manager is an easy-to-use, informative application that allows tracking of stock information while on the go. The information that it displays is very useful and there are multiple options for getting the data in the user’s preferred format. We encourage use of the free trial, as always, to make sure that the program meets your needs; however, in the trial version, only three individual stocks can be tracked.
